Horses Temperament Note: Contact Us She's kind of like the overgrown kid in your sixth-grade class who didn't know his own strength, and she can play too roughly for an inexperienced handler.
Health Problems: Baylee had knee surgery in January 2007 (her story can be found here: http://www.habitatforhorses.org/stories/baylee.html)When she stood after her cast was removed, she suffered a fracture that went almost completely through the distal end of the humerus (exactly at the left shoulder joint). The vets refused to give up on her; after three more months of stall rest and a few more months of pasture play, she is now completely recovered. The vets took x-rays recently and have declared her Perfect!

Baylee has a winning personality and is very affectionate. The exuberance she shows when she's running around in her pasture brings daily joy to her foster-people. She is a bit of a prankster and is also a thief when given the chance to steal things she can carry in her mouth--halters, lead ropes, spray bottles, hammers, other horses' cookies, etc. She also loves to play with the water hose while it's filling up her trough. She will make someone a wonderful equine partner in life!
